Location and cost.

Unfortunately the guest house claimed not to have received the correct information from Booked.net. However, they provided us with a twin room. Comfortably but unfortunately the guest house is located between the dairy and High Street.

Excellent rooms, very clean and well decorated.Friendly staff and a great full Englaish breakfast included. On road parking a bonus!

No shower in onsuite. We booked the family room as that was detailed as the only room available. However we received a standard double room.

Bed was a little soft for my liking, towel rail was dangerously hot!

We slept very deep on the orthro mattress!

No internet access, poor (english) breakfast.

They had to stay up late because our flight from Zurich was 2hrs late. The owner even called us to make sure we'd find the place in the dark. The GH is just beautiful and the rooms are very charming.

The GPS coordinates sent to us by Booked.net were about 3 miles wrong. Please correct!

The owner was very helpful and welcoming and a substantial breakfast was enjoyed in the morning. The building is very charming and boasts original features really liked the inglenook fireplace in the breakfast room.

the only problem was that our sat nav could not locate The Gallows and kept taking us into Huntingdon.

Comfortable hotel and a very enjoyable breakfast.

Nothing it was fine. We did not spend much time at the hotel as we were in Cambridgeshire to visit family who live in the next village.

We stayed here for a family wedding in St Ives and our family had all 5 rooms booked so we had the run of the place, every room was beautiful and clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The Gallows is in a small village on a main road, which all of the rooms face out on to, but it really is a quiet road, there are 3 pubs and we enjoyed an evening meal in the King William pub, the locals are very welcoming and friendly. This is an ideal location if you want to visit Cambridge or Huntingdon as it is between the two. We will definately be returning here.

Guest house is conveniently placed to the Park and Ride system for Cambridge.Breakfast is very tasty and sustaining for a day of heavy retail therapy!

Could park outside the door - location was excellent both for cambridge and also for the delightful towns and villages in the neighbourhood. Superb service including valuable local information we received from Sarah, who was both the cook and housekeeper.

Its location is ideal for a venue that I was attending at Godmanchester. It is only a short walk from a pub that serves excellent food. I stayed there last year and it is most convenient for my needs.

Only one problem there were no towels in the en-suite which meant a later than desired shower the following morning and is the only reason that I cannot give an excellent rating for service.
