Gallery Hotel Art Florence - 佛罗伦萨

You're in the most magnificent city in the entire world, the hotel is situated in the best location possible and the rooms are clean.

The location was amazing, just 2 blocks from the Ponte Vecchio Bridge, a very short walk to the Uffizi, and convenient to everything.

So when this hotel opened 5 yrs ago or so at a perfect location within spitting distance from Ponte Vecchio it was an immediate hit and still is revered by the trendy set in the city.

The lobby was very attractive with a hopping bar and the location of the hotel could not be more central.

At best they will give you the bill and call you a taxi.

Quality leather details on the bed and furniture and beautiful mirrors added a glamorous touch to the othervise minimalist room.

We had pushed the boat out to stay in one of the best rooms (room 707), with a huge bedroom, mezzanine lounge area and patio doors on to a split level roof terrace, complete with built in seating areas, loungers and dining table.

The rooms were absolutely fantastic with a separate living area / bathroom / and bedroom.

I will remember details like the beautiful bed linen, glass bannister rail, fantastic bathroom smellies and waking up to hear the Florentine bells chiming out all around us.

Our room was quiet and had features such as a heated towel rack in the bath, soft robes, slippers, awesome view of Il Duomo and Campanile.

It's not sophisticated with huge restaurants and others facilitaties, but its lounge/bar and its dining area is very well maintained and nice (especially the scramble egg in breakfast, fresh orange juice is served upon request).

Room is quiet, also the food in the Fusion-Bar/Restaurant is fantastic.

Standard rooms are very small but much less stuffy than it's standard in Italy; room cleaning could be better; nice breakfast with quality products; sushi restaurant has good menu.

Great central location on tiny Via Vicolo dell 'Oro and a fantastic sushi dinner in the hotel's bar-cum-restaurant.

Overall, we did have good service, especially at breakfast, but the bar and front desk attendants seemed to have a bit of an attitude.

Everyone from the front desk clerk at check-in, to the bellman, the "concierge", and the housekeeping staff.

The front desk staff were adequate but not great.

Great location, stay at Hotel Gallery Art was very pleasant and the front desk staff were adequate.

The only downside was the concierge service (or really lack thereof).

There is no parking, but they have a garage that will pick up your car and bring it back as needed.

The shuttle was 25 Euros per person, roundtrip, but it's worth it.

The hotel lobby is ultra modern with art (hence the name) grazing the walls.

The room was clean and breakfast buffet was awesome.

Nicely appointed rooms very clean, small, but there's quite a bit too see in Florence so you only really sleep there.

The bathrooms were very clean and the buffet breakfast was fine.
