Este hotel urbano fue construido en 1995, con un interior y exterior que mezcla de forma armoniosa la arquitectura europea con la hospitalidad oriental. Didn't want to spend Too much money, but not looking for a "discount" hotel, as we were on our honeymoon.
The prices in the hotel are rediculous and the facilities are extremely limited.
The Galaxy was our first stop in Vietnam, had it have been midway (more experience in choosing hotels) we probably would have looked further, (only due to the quality for the cost).
Convenient location and best restaurant nearby called Hanoi Restaurant.
This is not so convenient for tourist shopping but we liked the price and location.
Pros: Clean, spacious, comfortable, convenient location.
The handy location to the shops, overall the quality of our stay was good and staff was helpful and friendly.
Take a motor bike taxi or a cab anywhere from here for $.
The room was good but the window outlook was the rear of airconditioners that serviced all rooms.
I guess it can be nice but unfortunately we were in a room ( two single beds for a young married couple is not that great!
Found the Galaxy in our guidebook and booked over the phone from the airport in Hue for $70 for a suite.
Cons: Room cluttered with way too much furniture, complimentary breakfast was below average, a bit sterile.
I found the staff as friendly as anywhere else in the country, the room was fine and we were not disturbed with noise, as has been mentioned by previous reviewers.
The bar and restaurant are on the ground floor and we took dinner there twice and enjoyed it on both occasions.
Beds comfortable and restaurant had good food.
The attached restaurant very pricey and food quality not so good.
The hotel was adequate, the staff were a miserable lot, make sure you do not eat in their restaurant in the evening ,small portions, badly overpriced ,even if you are desperately tired ,go out.
Breakfast was good and no pool as was very hot.
Location good, the surrounding streets near the hotel were filled and staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived.
Nice hotel and reception spoke good english.

The staff sure could use some training in customer relations.
Small elevator, and when groups arrive it gets packed quite quickly.
