Overview

Located in Manuel Antonio, on the central Pacific coast, the five-star Gaia Hotel and Reserve is only two hours from San José, the capital of Costa Rica.

Renovated in 2008, the hotel achieves an ideal blend of modern amenities and natural scenery.

All 20 air-conditioned accommodations feature DVD players and mini-bars, LCD televisions, bathrooms with handheld showerheads, double sinks, bathrobes, and designer toiletries.

There are the La Luna restaurant and the Ambar Lounge at the hotel.

The business center has fax and photocopying facilities, scanner and audio-visual equipment. Private conference room offers free wired high-speed Internet access.

The fitness center is equipped with the best cardiovascular equipment and weight machines. Two pools at different levels are also available. Gym hours: 6am - 9pm

Jungle View Studios are located in the Clubhouse Building and offers a bedroom, sitting area and bathroom.

Suites have one bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and dining room area for four persons, and a beautiful private balcony, Jacuzzi for two persons and one sofa bed.

Gaia Suite is located in the Clubhouse offering a large bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, living room and dining room for four persons, Jacuzzi for four persons, a beautiful private pool and enclosed garden.

Deluxe Suite features one bedroom, a bathroom, a living and dining room area for four persons, a beautiful balcony, private rooftop terrace with a pool and Jacuzzi for two persons.

All rooms are overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the tropical rain forest.

The national park is beautiful and the food at Gaia is excellent and there are good restaurants nearby. The view from the suites and villas is amazing, the setting is magnificent. The staff is very friendly, the owners, Boris and David are exceptional, the rooms are a little too bright.

We arrived after a beautiful drive from san jose and the massage room looks out on the most fabulous view. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and firstly, the staff is excellent. The suites sell out fast and very relaxing environment and pool bar is great at sunset as well.

The view from the restaurant was beautiful overlooking the forest out to the ocean, for a member of Small Luxury Hotels left alot to be desired and the prices were reasonable, and the portions generous. The staff were wonderful and the deluxe suite room we had was great. The food there was excellent and dinner that night was nice too. The facilities were magnificent.

Views were amazing as were rooms and amenities, this hotel was beautiful, the staff were very warm professional. Our suite was large and very elegantly appointed, the Tito Canopy tour was wonderful also, breakfast was indeed great as well. The spa was very nice.

Good driver, very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area, great Getaway Hotel. The personal service was amazing, breakfast was usually at our dining table at the suite, and was consistently excellent, the international food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The massages we received at the spa were some of the best we have ever had.

The hotel is just delicious and the other wonderful service that is offered is the car pick up and drop off. The rooms are gorgeous, the food is surprisingly good and chef Eduardo Florian is THE BEST. Beverage and fresh fruit as you are toured through the property, the owners are fantastic. The pool is amazing too.
