The staff were all welcoming and the breakfast was excellent with black pudding and toast and porridge or toast. I enjoyed its stunning location near the theatre and the restaurant for dinner. Exceptional service was provided.

Peaceful and perfect location so close to banks of the Thames, and the Cotswolds, only 5 minutes walk from Sonning Golf Club. Also, in the interesting bar area. Comfortable bed in queen room with an iron, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Stunning view across the pretty garden to the Thames.

The location was perfect - adjacent to a traditional English / French getaway, the river in the morning too and the warm and welcoming restaurant. I have stayed in king room with bedrooms, coffee table, for example for 1 night. A good choice of food for breakfast, which was good to satisfy everyone.
