For the price and the location the hotel offers good value - but it sure isn't the RITZ.
2) Price was a bit high for basically a competent hotel - Kingston's hotels seem to be quite pricey for what you get - I would not have felt that this was a good value if I'd paid the full rate.
The location the hotel offers good value, amazing service and the room was very clean.
This hotel is overpriced for what you get, the rooms are VERY small.
It is a great location as it is close to the water, historic City Hall, skating rink, market and downtown Kingston for great shopping.

We liked the idea of the free underground parking garage, although it's very warm down there in the summertime.
My room (dbl Queens), was comfortable and they are putting in new beds (Sweet Sleeper bed) in everyroom over the summer.
A very basic room sparsely decorated with a king size bed no fridge-- we had to get one delivered when it arrived it was Hot and took a couple of hours to cool down.
The staff was friendly, room appointments comfortable: for pillow lovers the room provides a gigantic selection [5 on each queen bed and a couple of spares in the closet], and has iron and ironing board.
I was lucky and got a room with this new bed - however, honestly they are too comfortable.
The room had a lovely view across the lake towards Fort Henry, the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in and the reception service was very good.
I had breakfast, lunch and a dinner in the hotel dining room during my stay and the meals were excellent.
Location wise was perfect, the restaurant was an excellent place for breakfast and the staff was very friendly to us.
The restaurant is good and the pool is beautiful.
Also the internet connection was fast and reliable, breakfast was served by pleasant staff, the pool was nice and clean.
I can't comment on lunch or dinner, but we had breakfast there twice.
Great front desk staff, hot tub are always clean.
The service staff are friendly professional and quick, internet is free.
The Front Desk staff is very accommodating, the hot tub will accomodate 4 people and swimming pool is great for adults.

The switching of elevators from the hotel to the parking lot sucks but the parking lot is city owned so what can you do.
