I agree that the price of this hotel is no bargain, but hotels in Baltimore city are all overpriced for what you get.
As a Platinum Member of Starwood, I've paid three times the price for less quality and ambiance at some Starwood hotels but will return to this hotel any time I am in the area.
I booked this hotel because I can usually trust this brand, and it was a fair price.
All in all, this was a very pleasant airport hotel, at a good price.
Everything the other reviews say about the good location, ample parking and proximity to the airport is correct.

The only sour note was the driver of the airport shuttle.
We had a 12-hr layover in Baltimore, far too long to hang out at the airport with our luggage.
Our room with a king size bed was clean and comfortable - the bed was great and the room was nice, however the bathroom was tiny with the door or toilet blocking the tub.
I booked a deluxe room to find a brand new crisp clean large room with a King Four Comfort bed with a bath robe on it and a sofa.
We only used the room for the day, but took a nap and a shower and can confirm that both the bed and the bathroom are more than you'd expect at this price.
Rooms are a nice size, large bed, flat screen TV, not the best picture but hey.
Again, room is nice, I got a King bed room, it is spacious enough.
The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet with every imaginable breakfast item on hand.
Breakfast was fine, didnt sample restaurant.
The only thing that I would say bad about it is that the restaurant is over priced, we didn't eat there but I saw the menu and decided to go somewhere else.
There is a pub and a very large restaurant underground serving american dishes.
The restaurant has the best crab cakes in Maryland among other great things.
I feel that if the front desk, reservation and group sales staff can improve on their customer service skills, this is a fantastic hotel.
The staff at the front desk was wonderful and everytime I turned around someone was there to help me.

The front desk staff and shuttle drivers/bellman were wonderful.
Only hotel located on airport grounds, shuttle service to the terminals, free parking, huge rooms, free parking.
The shuttle took us to the light rail and the rail drops you in front of the park.
The lobby of the hotel looks a lot nicer on the Sheraton website then in person, but it's clean and the employees are extremely friendly.
So when I got into my room, I couldnt help but notice how clean it was and smelled!
Everyone is always worried about a clean room when picking a hotel and this room was top notch clean.
My room was clean and everything was in working order.
The beds were comfy and everything was very clean.
The room was extremely clean, and so was the hotel itself.
