Forte Da Oura is a four-star hotel several minutes from Praia da Oura Beach and not far from Albufeira town centre. The hotel is a part of the hotel chain - Luna Hotels. Mixed grill for 7 euros was really good value and the room was cleaned every day except Sunday and was absolutely spotless.

The lobby of the hotel has a nice fountain and is very clean, after grabbing a quick drink in a local bar we returned and got our room.

Large car park and gorgeous beach down the hill. For anyone looking for cheap reliable airport transfers i can recommend timetours for up to 4, the hotel pool is clean and well maintained, the staff are very helpful. Room has good space and bars like Matts bar La Bamba are probably the best of the bars. A great restaurant here is paulu's Italian restaurant.

The beach is lovely and perfect location for time of year. The hotel itself is great, the lobby is very nice as is the pool area and big balcony we could sit out and eat breakfast. A good Indian is the closest one, the haweli and maid came in every day to do something very clean.

Its never policed by hotle staff and has more facilities on offer, the food is very expensive too and pretty poor.

Overall really good location and great place. Of a much better standard than expected at the cheap price, friendly staff and spacious and cleaned everyday by the maids. The apartment was lovely and kitchen was well equipped and again very clean.

The cost of a taxi to the old town was 3.90 euros and pool was busy alright.

Great location and nice Hotel. Staff welcoming and very helpful, big balcony, the pool bar served excellent snacks at reasonable prices. Serves all traditional foods and gets you a large beer and a glass of wine for the equivalent of around £2.

Lovely pool area to play in, the beach is straight down the road opposite the hotel and is brilliant, the apartments are clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful, the happy hour at the bar is very cheap.
