Forest Suites Resort South Lake Tahoe - 南太浩湖

We loved the layout and the location of the resort and the fact that it is right next to the Heavenly Gondola.

The scenery around the location is beautiful, and it is very close to the Heavenly Village Shops.

The location is great (nearby shopping and a very short walk to the Heavenly Gondola), but their most prized possession we believe is their new general manager, Matt Fenn.

The foot stool for the arm chair was also a total wreck.

You can get discount tickets to local attractions, and the desk arranged for bus pickup to the Tahoe Queen and casinos.

The suite features a hot tub, dry/wet sauna, private kitchen, master bedroom with a king size bed and private bathroom and fireplace, as well as a living room with a fireplace and big screen television.

1) A master bedroom with king sized bed, TV, en-suite bathroom (with an adequate hairdryer), large wardrobe with key operated safe and chest of drawers.

For our three-night stay in February 07, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite, which had a large, very comfortable king size bed in the bedroom, and sofabed in the living room.

We chose the Forest Suites for a family reunion, as it offered a variety of room choices, from standard hotel rooms to two bedroom, two bath, full kitchen suites.

Our other friends and families stayed in just about every other room type available- 2 bedroom suites, 1 bedroom suites, and the regular hotel rooms.

Continental Breakfast was unbelievable, the free wine in the bar on a friday for 2hrs was much appreciated and the facilities were well cared for.

Breakfast is free, early friday night sees complimentary wine cheese etc in the bar.

Location is outstanding, breakfast is free, laundry facility on site, two pool areas with hot tubs, shuttle available to casinos, walk to area attractions and restaurants.

The building that housed the lobby, breakfast area, game roon and little bar was very nice, but the rooms are somewhat dingy and outdated.

The location - fantastic, easy to get to gondola, good restaurants, hire shops, supermarket, etc.

Perfect location for skiing, the hotel staff was very pleasant and housekeeping service was good.

The location was excellent within walking distance to grocery stores local shopping, friends awesome of a place Forest Suites Resort was and the front desk staff was cheerful and courteous.

Seriously, the staff was incredible and the service impeccable.

Instead of making me wait, the front desk staff graciously upgraded my accommodations to the presidential suite.

The pool and spa are clean and well maintained.

The elevator smells bad, the halls smelled funny, large groups stay here so they gather around pool and don't leave you much room.

Rooms were nice, and big, we and the kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, and the Continental breakfast was great (juice varieties, fruit, pastries, cereals, even hard-boiled eggs).

The beds were comfortable, including the kitchen was very clean and the free continental breakfast was nice as well -- again.

Staff are so nice, the rooms are functional and jacuzzi's are really clean.

Very spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

The suites are huge, clean, and comfortable.

The rooms were clean, the free breakfast was more than adequate.
