  We asked the guy if he had any extra rooms and how much they were. Once we got to our rooms (nice, clean, comfortable with big size bathrooms and all the amenities) we decided to explore the neighborhood just to find out that everything, literary EVERHTING of any importance was just around the corner! The staff was more very friendly, it was like home away from home.

  Rooms are ok but fairly basic and my bathroom, while quite spacious (bath and separate shower) was quite dingy with mould on the ceiling. Location is very central, just a few steps off the Grand Place, but fairly noisy if you have a room overlooking the lane.

  This hotel is centrally located( a few steps off the Grand Place) and near many good eateries and shops. We would have been very happy with our choice except that the room was poorly kept. The elevator was small and clean-good for luggage or persons with stair walking difficulty.

  Our room was on 4th floor(top flr) and had old world character with the exposed wood beams. The bed could have benefited from a fresh white duvet rather than the dingy looking dark green motel bedspread and the linens were clean but appeared worn.

  Location near city center.

  The beds were very hard. We were offered to eat breakfast at the Arlequin, because it was only basic at Grand Place, but there was very hot in the room so if did not feel so fresh.

  L'albero ? situato in una posizone centralissima ed ? facilmente raggiungibile da due diverse stazioni della metro. Le stanze non sono male, ma durante il soggiorno di 3 giorni non sono mai state pulite ne sono stati rifatti i letti, n? sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani. Inoltre nell'albergo non ? presente la reception, per cui il check in deve essere fatto in un albergo vicino (circa 150 metri). Quindi ottima posizione, camere ok, pessimi servizi

  Room was dark and dingy. Window looked out on an air shaft. The paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom and an electric outlet was falling out of the wall.

  Hopefully they'll replace the second-hand fixtures and fittings and spruce the rooms up to an acceptable standard, as it's not the sort of place you'd want to spend any amount of time. Given the choice of other affordable accommodation in Brussels, I would give it a miss.

  An excellent location right in the heart of the city - the Grote Markt is a mere twenty paces away. We had an inner room which was very quiet. I imagine that, given the location, one opening on to the street rather than a light well might be rather different.

  Although our room was very tiny (even by Europen standards - goodness knows what an American might think!

  The rooms are big enough for two people to manage effectively (although there may be too much furniture in them) and they were reasonably clean. The location is absolutely perfect, just a few steps from the Grand Place (and I agree with those whole feel that this is the most dazzling square in Europe). While it is possible to walk from Brussels Central Station, the sidewalks are cobblestoned which presents a challenge for all but the most stable of luggage wheels -- we did, however, successfully make the walk with two large suitcases. If you arrive at Brussels Midi (where the Eurostar from London terminates), you can take a cab to the hotel for about six Euros. A nice breakfast is included in the price. While the hotel is not perfect, it has to be one of the best value propositions in Europe -- superb location, nice hotel, and breakfast all for less than 100 Euros per night.

  The carpet looked relatively new and the bathroom had been updated recently (the shower stall is very tiny). There was some evidence of water damage that had not been completely repaired and there were some aspects of the bathroom that could have been cleaner.
