Extremely spacious and airy rooms, thanks a lot for fantastic stay!!!

Spotlessly clean hotel, satisfactory breakfast, the location is gorgeous very close to the main square, centre and a splendid old Palace.

The location is marvellous, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from De Fontein.

The rooms were reasonably sized and complete with good WiFi, a comfortable bed plus a green. The location was good and beautiful, just 5 minutes walk from Fries Natuurmuseum. The staff was supper friendly and excellent - we would definitely book again.

Amazing historic atmosphere and well-renovated bathrooms. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to explore the town. I highly recommend this grand palace for an unforgettable stay.

Reception staffs are very kind with smile and could explain fully abou anything hotel, city, etc.

There is a jacuzzi bath in the rooms with very dirty, black scale, fur caming out from the jacuzzi hole. We asked hotel manager came to check in the rooms, but he could do nothing solved with smile. No problem for us not to use jacuzzi, but his attitude was disappointed.

Excellent central location, friendly staff, beautiful park view, tasty restaurant.

The hotel is in the center of town and is in an old historic building. It felt special to stay in an old palace. We ate a fabulous dinner in their historic dining room. The food was excellent and the dining room very lovely.

The parking lot was somewhat remote. We had to unload our luggage and then drive to the parking lot and walk back to the hotel. The room was huge but the furnishings old and spartan although the bed was comfortable. Very poor lighting for reading at night.

Our Christmas stay was wonderful. The hotel's location was right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety of fresh options. We especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the lounge area, which added to the festive atmosphere.

The room could use some updating, as the furniture seemed outdated and the mattress was not very comfortable. the noise from the street made it difficult to sleep at times.

Staff of the hotel and Location are the only 2 reasons for me to do it twice but I doubt to do it again.

1- Parking is about 700 meters & expensive. 2- Breakfast is poor for such Royal-alike hotel. 3- Poor Room Service Food. 4- Expensive Rate in comparison to the room size & quality. 5- Outdated with doors keys you have to carry in your pockets. 6- Poor TV Channels

I booked a suite for EUR 100 - it's very good value for money! Very spacious suite in a real palace. Good breakfast with a relatelively small choice of quality food, good bread and nice selection of cheeses.

The reception staff was slightly unfriendly and did not smile at all. However they were exceptionally efficient, helpful and fulfilled all requests withing adequate time.

This hotel is located in the center of the city, making it convenient for exploring Leeuwarden. The beautiful historical building adds to its charm. The rooms, with their antique furnishings, are spacious and comfortable. The highlight for us was the jacuzzi bath - simply amazing. Additionally, the hotel provides good wifi and offers a delicious breakfast with several options to choose from.

Geen airco. Het was ontzettend warm op de kamer en ik kon niet slapen. De vloerverwarming io de badkmer stone aan en dat maakte het alleen nog erger

The suite we had was comfortable and perfect for a family, although the restaurant was expensive both for dinner and breakfast and unsuitable for young children. The location was convenient and attractive.

We had to search for someone to check us in and check us out and there were no staff available to give information..
