Had an amazing Christmas getaway at this cozy motel by the beach. Loved the fully equipped kitchenette which made it easy to cook all our favorite holiday meals. The kids loved the quick walk down to the beach and enjoyed beautiful ocean views from our unit. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, we visited several local wineries and cafes. The best part was how affordable this spot was compared to others in the area.

One thing we found a bit inconvenient was the lack of a laundry facility on-site. Other than that, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at a motel for three nights during my business trip. Loved the clean and tidy accommodation, with separate bedroom, lounge, kitchen, and bathroom that offered privacy and comfort. It was a bonus to have a washing machine in the unit. The motel was perfectly located near tourist attractions and had easy access to the beach and ferry. The view of the sea was mesmerizing, and I was able to enjoy the beach using the spade that was available in the unit. The kitchen had all necessary appliances including hot plates, microwave, and a BBQ area outside.

The motel lacked internet connectivity, which made it difficult to reach out to my colleagues and clients during my stay. the water pressure in the shower was not enough, which made the showering experience less than optimal.

This motel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the beautiful beach and the convenient ferry landing. You can easily access the park in Whitianga and enjoy everything that Flaxmill Bay has to offer. The rooms are clean, tidy, and modern, with comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen facilities are great, allowing you to cook meals for your family. The motel offers good value for money, with affordable prices.

Some minor issues with the remote control not working and the picture on the TV being set incorrectly for the screen were a bit disappointing.
