  My experience was completely wonderful. Excellent friendly service, peaceful and beautiful surroundings, great food, free mineral pool across the street, nice walking trails, I could go on. If you want excitement, shopping, and entertainment or if you want completely luxurious rooms or if you have kids, please don't go. If you just want to relax and get away from it all, it's perfect.

  The room quality was exceptional with lots of little extras. Unfortunately we arrived a little late to really enjoy the hotel but the owners and staff were very friendly. The owner spoke good English but probably not too many of the staff did but that doesn't bother us as after all you are in the heart of the Black Forest in Germany. Food at dinner and breakfast was great and the dining area was really comfortable and again well furnished.
