Fisher Island Hotel And Resortdates back to 1925, when William Vanderbilt created a splendid winter estate on a 216 acre island just off the coast of gleaming Miami and Miami Beach. He called it Fisher Island.

Today it is home to the splendid Fisher Island Hotel and Resort with the finest recreational amenities and accommodations to be found anywhere.

It has a charming ocean side beach club and intimate restaurants, gracious cottages and guest houses and many more.

The views out across the water are fantastic, and the beaches are great, the transportation via boat to and from the island is very convenient and nice. Beach is the best, the staff is wonderful and the rooms are well appointed and the air conditioning was more then efficient. The food is amazing in all the restaurants.

The tennis center is the best i have experienced any and and all the fabulous food, shopping and nightlife is a ferry ride away. The private beach is very small, service is great and the shower has amazing pressure. The fitness is perfect, all the Restaurants are very good.
