Very nice and friendly staff, nice building, a renovated old bank building in stone, nice interior, nice modern design without beeing cold and minimalistic, and with the old "bank" solidity intact.
The showers where fixed in the roof, so the water from the shower head could only go straight down, and one could not take the shower head down, adjust and so on. No minibar, but nice selection in the reception.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was amazing, right next to the waterfront restaurants and just a short walk from the harbor. The hotel itself was housed in an old bank building, which gave it a really unique and atmospheric feel. The room was clean and comfortable, with a modern and practical bathroom. The bed was super comfy and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel also had a terrace where I could relax during the day, which was a nice touch. The check-in system using codes was really convenient and I didn't have to worry about losing a key card. The hotel is located in a convenient spot, near the promenade with a great variety of restaurants and bars. If you want to go shopping, you'll also find some stores around. The reception area looks modern and part of the restaurant. The breakfast is of good quality with alternative options for gluten and lactose-free diets.
The temperature of the rooms is centrally controlled, so you may feel too cold at night.

I had a great stay at Banken Hotel. The rooms were modern and of great quality. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I had one of the best night's sleep in a hotel. The location was perfect, with many restaurants nearby. The breakfast was delicious and included in the price of the room. I also appreciated the included snacks throughout the day, it saved me money on eating out. I highly recommend Banken Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

A very charming historic hotel situated in an old banking building, nicely refurbished to a cosy hotel. Good breakfast, nice staff.
No handheld showerhead, just a small showerhead way above your head - very impractical when washing your hair and "lower parts".
