FireSky Resort & Spa - a Kimpton Hotel

It is located in Scottsdale, a pleasant location with good shopping and access to Phoenix.

Overall the location is great (very close to Old Towne Scottdale and Fashion Square).

I chose Firesky as it was a newly renovated property located in the heart of Scottsdale's Old Town, within a few blocks of museums and shopping, and was close to the Phoenix International Airport (about 10 miles).

很有悠闲感觉，大堂有点非洲的感觉，但房间是正宗的美式田园风格，舒服宽大的床，一式的原木家具，还带个阳台，不过凤凰城太热了，把衣服就放在外边的椅子上一晚，干透了.

房间很大，双人间是两张一米半的大床，哈哈，方便了远在纽约的友人一家三口前来会我.

房间里是一色的美式原木家具，很有田园FEEL.

房间里不设网线，但有无线上网服务，公司统一包下来了，可恨的是我换了两次房间，无线上网还是不行…….

开会时，外边有大量的冰水和水果供应.

The hotel restaurant was undergoing refurbishment so we ate out at some of the many great restaurants in Scottsdale; on New Year's Eve we took the hotel shuttle ( a Cadillac Escalade) both to and from our downtown dinner reservation.

The staff was absolutely wonderful - housekeeping, pool service, room service, front desk and concierge.

From the restaurant staff to the banquet staff to the front desk staff, nobody seemed interested in creating good customer service moments.

There are very few facilities beyond the pool, the very small gym and the basic spa.

Rooms are on both sides of the hall in each arm, which means that some have a great view of the center garden/pool areas while the others have a poor view of the parking lots, which surround the hotel on the outside of the room blocks.

The private patio was nice and the wireless internet worked very well for me.
