Overview

Fira Palace is a 4-star contemporary style hotel with a grand sense of space and classic modern elegance. It is a white-stone, high-rise Spanish-style hotel with a large marble-floored lobby adorned with potted plants. The hotel’s special services include: indoor heated swimming pool with a massage waterfall and jets, gym with cardiovascular and weights equipment, fitness classes, sauna and massage service. For the business purposes there are 18 meeting accommodating up to 2,500 people and a theatre-style conference hall seating 1,200 people. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available for 30 minutes every day either by means of your own laptop or the internet point found in the lobby. They are decorated in neutral tones with contrasting fabrics and have Italian marble bathrooms with separate shower cabin, equipped with hairdryer and make-up mirror. Besides the rooms have air-conditioning and are equipped with desks, satellite TV, direct dial telephones, radios, movie channels, laptop size safes, minibars and wireless Internet.

Dining options

Fira Palace has a piano bar and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant. The rustic El Mall is a buffet-style restaurant with tiled floor, bare brick walls and vaulted wooden ceilings that are reminiscent of a Catalan cave restaurant. It offers fine Mediterranean cuisine and international cuisine, specializes in Catalan and Spanish dishes such as paella, fish soup and turbot with beans and mushrooms. The hotel also offers a disco with live music and a great variety of cocktails and liquors.

Fira Palace is situated next to the well known Gran Via and Plaza Espana and Fair Grounds besides the Montjuic fountains, the National Palace, the MNAC museum, the Spanish Village, the Olympic Ring, etc. It is only a 15 minutes walk from the Ramblas, the harbour and the Colon monument.   Huge rooms, especially for europe, all in all a good choice.

  At fora palace one gets a free internet acsses to a very poor quality and staff not warm and helpful. Drinks very expensive.

  Good location for the fountains , montjuic and harbour, Ramblas etc, excellent stay, the staff were pleasant spoke English. The bathroom was Gorgeous.
