The hotel is situated right on the edge of the lava fields, providing a unique and picturesque setting. The staff are friendly and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms offer a nice view of the mountains and are clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided is delicious and varied, with a range of options to suit all tastes.

the room I was initially upgraded to was dark and noisy, right next to the road, making it difficult to sleep. Even after requesting a room change, the alternative room by the pool had a distinct smell of dampness, which was very off-putting.
