Vera and Dr. Robert Locke are simply the most amazing people you will meet. They are very friendly, cordial, and very accomodating. We stayed in the ground floor apartment and it was amazing. Very spacious, bedroom, kitchen, small living room, and huge bathroom. Vera brings in a nice breakfast every morning and leaves it in the kitchen (at a pre-arranged time of course). Vera even helped us in our search of Polish food, by taking us to the restaurant and then recommending some of the best Polish food I have ever had. Gorlitz in and of itself is an enchanting little town, but it was our stay here that made the trip, and makes me want to return.

The location is excellet. You can walk all over the beautiful town of Gorlitz and cross the bridge into Poland. Many restaurants are close by as well as a small grocery store and pastry shops. Our hosts were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our large apartment was very clean and very quiet.

I can't say what was my favourite bit, it was all unexpectedly lovely. The quirkily decorated, middle European restored and renovated town house, grand,comfortable and spotless. The friendly but unobtrusive Polish landlady and her witty American husband. Or Gorlitz,star of the East, a well kept secret and a real gem of historical, geographical and archtectural importance. Totally charming ,all round. Worth a detour away from the better known tourist spots. Take a walk across the river and try the Polish Indian reastaurant, next to the river. An interesting contrast to the German cuisine on the Gorlitz side.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. It was a very good value for the price. The location was excellent and the proprieters were very friendly and accomodating.

Owners are very friendly and helpful, very large room, great location, free parking and wifi.

A very warm and friendlywelcome. Perfect for a onenight stay. Very central.

The room was huge and so was the bathroom and tub. There was a lovely continental breakfast set out for us in the morning(set out for the time we asked). Bed was quite comfy and it was a full sized bed not two put together.

Very friendly and helpful owners. The apartment we had was HUGE with a HUGE bathroom with a lovely corner bath. Will stay again, well worth the money.

The location of these apartments are perfect if you want to be in the middle of the old town - and they have private parking so you do not have to worry about finding a park. We had the second floor apartment and were very impressed with its size and decor. We had the whole floor to ourselves although we had only booked the double room and there was another room with two single beds. I assume you would always get the whole floor but it can cater to a family or a couple. The floor had a full sized new kitchen which we had free use of and where they served us a lovely breakfast, a beautiful bathroom and a covered balcony area. The owners were very nice people and spoke good English. I would definitely recommend these apartments!

Great location in the old town of Gorlitz. The owners speak English and are some of the nicest people we've met. The ground floor apartment is huge, and a wonderful place to stay if there are many travelers in your group. Thank you!

The apartment had 2 large rooms, a good size bathroom, and a kitchen. It was nice! You could fit 6 in the room easy, 8 if you wanted to. The location is 1 mile from Poland. The owners are the nicest people. I could spend hours listening to their stories. The car was parked in a located garage.

It was a little hard to find - the address was marked and the gps found it, but it took us a minute to figure out we were there.
