Farol Design Hotel Cascais - 卡斯凯什

A nice stroll away from the city center, location to Cascais is perfect as the hotel is located right beside the marina has some lovely restaurants to visit.

Cascais is an adorable old-fashioned resort, and this modern yet atmospheric hotel occupies a romantic and dramatic seafront location, beside the lighthouse.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel have a great location near the sea.

The town of Cascais is just minutes away by foot so you dont need a car,eventhough we had one,to move around.

She also helped us bring our bags out to a taxi when we are leaving (there seem to be no porters in this hotel), she was exceptionally nice.

Not a huge room but the Jacuzzi bath and firm King-size bed made up for it ;-).

If you can choose the designers rooms beacuse the standart one aren't bed, but I think they are a little bit expensive for what they offer!

The location overlooking the Atlantic is superb and we were delighted to watch the 8 feet waves crash on to the rocks through the feet of our bed.

However, being on the second floor, it also had a gigantic beam angling down at the end of the bed.

Our room was only so-so (only one bedside table in our room), the bathroom was tired and breakfast was uninspiring.

Prices in the restaurant and especially at the bar are high with a tendency to be too high (especially given the price level at the countless restaurants in the area), so that I would recommend to eat and have a drink at a different place.

The restaurant for breakfast is really good again.

The Farol Design Hotel is very stylish, staff are charming and the setting is stunning with a great restaurant, bar and pool area.

The rest of the hotel was a mixture of old and new; the bar, panelled and old, lit by chandeliers, while the restaurant is new, with one glass wall overlooking the sea.

The bar and restaurant are places to see and be seen and pool area was "happening".

They have serious problems with service - the reception was not able to book a rental car for me - and my rating is improved only by the embarrassed kindness of the staff.

Excellent location, they certainly made our stay at the Farol hotel a pleasurable experience and the service was fantastic - really friendly staff.

I felt reception staff did not provide us with any information except for what time breakfast was served, no map of the area, not that towels were available by the pool, not that a hot breakfast was available on request etc.

We found the service, especially the front desk, to go above and beyond.

The hotel has no Spa nor an inside pool, what made it impossible for us to enjoy some swimming, because outside it was already too cold.

The view from pool area and terrace are amazing.

When we arrived the hotel itself and the garden and pool did look great.

Very clean, small rooms, all of them different, get the ones that face the ocean.

The hotel and the rooms were always clean.

Also the pool area looks kind of unkempt sometimes, if the beds kept tidy the area would look much more impressive.
