The room was spacious and had a large bathroom, which was a welcome surprise. The breakfast was decent and prepared with fresh ingredients. The location was convenient for exploring the nearby area.
The check-in process was poor and there was no welcoming feeling. The owner was less than friendly and created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

What a delightful B&B! The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with tea, coffee, and cake upon our arrival. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We loved the attention to detail with the little extras provided like biscuits and toiletries, which added to the homey feeling. The breakfast was amazing and made with locally sourced products. The countryside location was peaceful and quiet - the perfect place to relax and get away from it all.
Honestly, we cannot think of a single negative aspect of our stay. If we had to nitpick, we would say that the location might be a bit difficult to find, but that only added to the charm of the place.

The delicious breakfast, featuring locally sourced ingredients, was a highlight of my stay. the beautiful garden and scenic surroundings added to the overall charm of this establishment.
I did encounter some concerns with the presence of aggressive dogs on the property.

I recently had a fantastic weekend away in Devon and stumbled upon this hidden gem called Farmborough House. The value for money was incredible, especially considering the spacious rooms with beautiful views overlooking the garden. The attention to detail was impressive, from the interesting mix of modern and traditional decor to the friendly and knowledgeable hosts who provided great tips on what to see in the area. The breakfast was outstanding, with a special mention for their thoughtfulness in providing gluten-free bread for my wife.
All aspects of this hotel were perfect - nothing to improve!
