Family Garden Inn

Prices are reasonable, the location is centric, and the green, quiet courtyard is a welcomed break from the otherwise stressful last miles of I-35 as it ends at the Mexican border.

Convenient location, neat place and away better than any of the commercial steak houses.

Our non-smoking room "appeared" clean, but everything was extremely old from the carpet, to the beds, to the bathroom fixtures, to the towels, etc.

Upon arriving I found the rooms have been remodeled with fresh paint and bed linines both tastefully done.

The A/C works great and our room had a ceiling fan above the bed.

The bedroom was so small there was only a bed in it.

The rooms are dated, but clean and the beds are comfortable.

There are also homemade breakfast and dinner meals for sale in case you grow weary of dry cereal and nachos.

The evening happy hour and breakfast, both with free food and drink is a welcoming effort to encourage socializing for their many different guests.

Excellent restaurants, free Beer in the garden in the evening.

The cabana outside that served breakfast looked very dirty, so we skipped breakfast and checked out as quickly as possible.

Complimentary breakfast, complimentary draft beer at happy hour, complimentary dinner snacks (nachos & hot dogs), complimentary shuttle service to/from local businesses and Bridge#1.

The great rate of $65+taxes, genuine efforts into making our short stay a wonderful one and the front desk staff were absolutely helpful.

The other services that make me return time and again are the free shuttle service, great cable and PPV selections, free local calls, close proximity to Mall del Norte, excellent restaurants and major shopping areas.

The front desk staff were absolutely helpful with their suggestions for activities in Nuevo Laredo.

The Family Garden Inn's whole staff (desk, housekeeping, and Cabana restaurant) is to the commended for their care and genuine efforts into making our short stay a wonderful one.

The main building surrounds a large, clean swimming pool tapering off to a wading pool and a play area for kids who always receive special attention at the Family Garden Inn.

Going to Mexico was great with the shuttle bus dropping you off and picking you up.

The gentleman in charge there was very nice, the staff was extremely accommodating and the rooms were very clean.

The pools and hot tubs were sparkling clean.

Our non-smoking room appeared clean, free local calls and complimentary breakfast.

A far better value IMO, helpful staff and hot tubs were sparkling clean.

Moreover rooms were clean and the free food in the mornings was awesome.
