This historic hotel Fairmont Palliser, built in 1914 in the middle of Calgary, is a good one to stay at for business trips. The service is excellent and up to Fairmont standards, but some guests feel that nothing really stood out, and the quality of the rooms was inconsistent.

Built in 1914 and decorated in elegant classic style the property offers a state-of-the-art health club, a large indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre.

The location was good, the room was clean and viewed the Calgary Tower, the position of the hotel was great close to everything. The lobby was nice and service was excellent. Water pressure was fine and loved the high ceilings and just intimate the environment was.

Pool area are spectacular, this Hotel has a great feel to great location and the staff are fantastic, for the price should be a lot better. The main lobby is impressive, large and functional, your front desk people are very good and smart. Room appointments are exceptional.

Location was perfect, spa facilities were very nice as was the overall first impression upon entering the hotel and the staff were without exception polite, friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent as were the evening canapes and the honesty bar.

Great location, beautiful old hotel and the Oak Room next to the lobby is in the classical tradition, quiet and relaxing. Also to mention,the beds are perfect,feather pillows are the best, around the pool are impressive.
