Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac is a royal castle, in an amazing spot overlooking the St. Lawrence River, has great views, a spacious interior, excellent staff, and impressive setting. However, the rooms and food disappointed some people.

The four-star Fairmont Frontenac Hotel enjoys prime setting in the beating heart of Quebec City and overlooks the picturesque banks of the St. Lawrence River.

Housed in a beautiful castle-like building, this European-style luxurious property is distinguished by its old-world charm and modern services, including wireless high speed internet access, versatile meeting services and spacious private parking on site.

The hotel provides a combination of 618 renovated guestrooms and suites, appointed with elegantly styled chateau furnishings and regal décor. In-room fittings include air-conditioning, cable TV and mini-bar.

Hotel was very helpful to us except for one grumpy conceirge, the service was excellent - reception and clean room was recently renovated.
Bar are all excellent - we really enjoyed our meal in the main dining room - beautiful views and a nice place to relax like the Richelieu manor.
The local people are friendly and gym are well equiped.

Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport

By car: From terminal, to end of access road, right on 'Route de l'Aéroport'. Route de l'Aéroport on to Freeway 540 south (Boul Duplessis) . At the end of 540 south, exit Boul. Laurier. Boul Laurier becomes Grande Allée and then rue St-Louis (inside old city). The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is at the end of this street on the right-hand side.
