Fairmont Empress Victoria - 維多利亞

The location is good but we saw other hotels similarly located.

We got a great nite's sleep and the location was "walking close to everything" especially the float plane teminal.

Hotel was in a good location - smap bang in middle of downtown.

Top tip do not book car hire for Vancouver Airport - the coach station is behind the hotel/conference centre.

We flew out of Victoria via the Victoria International Airport.

美中不足是它的门童，也许是帮客人提东西有小费吧，所以我们车一到很快跑出来，但一见是中国团，就缩了回去，让人心里很不舒服，其他都可以给五星了.

The room itself was what you would expect from a traditional Fairmont -- antiquey furniture, smallish bathroom but very comfortable bed and clean throughout.

Our room had a very large bed, two bathrooms, a great view of the harbour (and we didn't even pay extra!

Given suite with sitting room, kitchen, harbour view and biggest bed ever.

I found that the room service menu and restaurant prices were very high ($20 for a continental breakfast), so I frequented nearby restaurants, which is too bad as I would like to have tried their restaurants based on reputation.

The Empress Room dining room looked gorgeous, although we did not eat there; it serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

What we enjoyed most was the Empress restaurant, by staying here on a B&B package we got a great rate and the breakfast here is superb –the best (non-buffet) breakfast I have experienced.

This also entitled us access to the Gold Conceirge (very helpful) and free breakfast and open bar each day.

The restaurants was good and again restaurant staff was the BEST I have ever experienced and there were a high staff to customer ratio.

The building is cool, the concierge service at the Empress is fantastic and employees are all friendly.

The porters and reception staff were extremely helpful and our deluxe room was beautiful.

Facilities: The hotel itself is huge and does offer many different options for leisure (indoor pool, Willow Spa, gym) and at least four different restaurants.

Did not get to see the facility amenities like the gym/pool/spa and these are important.

There is also a pool and a gym, neither of which I used.

3) The only high-speed internet was in these two small lobbies (wireless) and not in our room.

We found a Fairmont wireless site on the main floor but it was $13.

The room was very clean, hallways clean, hotel clean, smelled fresh.

The bathroom was clean and afternoon tea was very nice.

The rooms were nice and clean but again like the Bellagio you are paying for the surroundings and it is well worth $150-200/night maybeeee $250 for the upgrade during special holidays (Christmas).

It was noon and they had upgraded her but she was not happy that the room still wasn't clean.

The hotel does have an old feel to it, but the room was clean and the elevators were fast.
