Fairmont Empress invites guests for a wonderful stay. This gorgeous British landmark will transport you to the past. It has beautiful views of the Inner Harbour. The setting is gorgeous and the staff bends over backwards for guests. The hotel is large and can be a task to navigate through. The high tea is excellent and the pool is great. Some feel that it's too haughty of a place, but others feel it's still a very good place.

The tea is fabulous and you receive a tin of teabags to take home after the meal, the concierge service at the Empress is fantastic.
The bathroom was clean and afternoon tea was very nice.
Complimentary breakfast during our stay and attentive staff - always friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very charming you think the queen may walk by at any time, the service is attentive.

The rooms are small and have poor views, i would recommend upgrading, television channels are very limited.

Victoria is a lovely city, this historic hotel has a very nice location and the staff here are exceptional. The suite is tastefully updated in ornate Victorian, high tea is EXCELLENT.

The view was great and decor of the hotel were amazing. The guards at the parliament building were happy to answer our questions and for the price was not the mowt luxurious experience I've had. The staff were very nice, helpful, room was spacious and the food was surprisingly good.

Nice location overlooking the water and classic design. Great building and worth the extra money. Well, i liked the food and lobby area, friendly staff, better pool, gym and I preferred the rooms too. Just going there for tea.

The ferries to vancouver are on the other side of the island near the airport and this hotel is very beautiful in all of 's Christmas Decorations. The service is very good, the junior suites are quite large and the food is fancy and tasty. Child's waiting pool are nice enough.

The views at day and night were truly spectacular, the hotel was perfectly clean, and the staff were amazing, service was poor and not at all you would expect at a Fairmont. The room was nice, after noon tea was great and a good way to say good by.

Convenient location to shops, restaurants and museum, magnificent setting, gorgeous exterior. Staff very friendly and helpful, luxury accommodation, we liked the tea at Butchart Gardens better for $25. Great choice, the spa is also new and seems very nice.

I wouldn't stay at the empress on a particularly hot day, the staff we met seemed polite and friendly, the Empress Room was nice typical 4 star décor. Afternoon tea were excellent.
