You'll be close to the central business district at this classy hotel Fairmont Dallas offering great service and beautiful rooms. The views are great and the bar is lively. The cuisine is excellent. Some think that it's showing its age.

The restaurant Pyramid is very well reviewed in the Dallas Press, the pool level is fine.
Walking distance to many great neighborhoods, good location and this hotel didn't live up to they advertised.
Pool area was great and every meal I had at the hotel was very good.

Getting there

Dallas Love Field (DAL) Airport is about 8km from the hotel.

By car: Exit airport turning right onto W. Mockingbird Lane. Turn left at Maple. Go 3kmi and turn right at Wycliff, then left at Harry Hines Boulevard. Take slight right at Field and then left at Woodall Rodgers Freeway. The first light is Akard, turn right. The first light is Akard, turn right.

Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Airport is within 25.3km from the hotel.

By car: Follow the signs to Dallas from either the North or South exits. North exit is Hwy 114 to I-35E South. South exit is 183 to I-35E South. Continue on I-35E South; Exit 75/Sherman. The service was prompt, friendly and warm in all areas of the motel, the hotel was excellent and the rooms were nice and clean and modern. The lobby was beautiful, the staff were pleasant and helpful, the TV did not have two of the channels shown available. A very romantic piano player made the evening perfect, the breakfast was GREAT and the French fries were VERY good.

Staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the local area, the hotel has a good downtown location. The lobby is nice and attractive, once you go up the elevator, service is fantastic as well. Great bar and lavish guestrooms, the pool is on the roof and at night is really cool to be out there.

A beautiful terrace is perfect for relaxation and allows great views of the city, the hotel has only an outdoor pool. The lobby area is elegant and the staff is always very professional, helpful. Room service is very prompt and the food is good.

Very central to Dallas and service was great. The bed was remarkably comfortable, pillowtop mattress was comforatble and the pillows were nice, the food, even for groups was excellent. The concierge was very helpful.

Every meal i had at the hotel was very good and well presented, the front desk was very friendly, concierge desk was a breath of fresh air very polite and helpful. The room was tasteful and the food and drinks were fantastic. The birthday dinner was great.

Dallas has better luxury hotels than this, bathrooms are really big and clean, the coffee is the best ever. The local reservation staff is pleasant and efficient, great concierge by the name of Philip.
