A historic hotel Fairmont Chateau Laurier is luxurious and very close to Parliament. The entire design gives it an air of importance, but some of the rooms are hit or miss.

The staff were charming, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast on the concierge floor was excellent.
The location of the Laurier was excellent, the communal areas of the hotel were luxurious and all of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location at the corner of rideau canal and a few meters from the parliement, hotel is lovely, well appointed, the front desk staff are always accommodating to my requests. The public rooms are incredible.

The view from the room was spectacular and the location was amazing, Canada Day in Ottawa was Great, concierge and front desk services were superb. The bed was very comfortable and the staff treated us like gold.
