GREAT VALUE- I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
My husband and I travel on a budget and found this hotel to be more than worth the money.
Great hotel for the price and modern interior.
The location was fine and this hotel met both reqirements for an acceptable price.
It is in a great location, right next to the entrance of Universal and close to International Drive (for restaurants, entertainment, and shopping).
The location is great, island of Adventures were is walking distance as well as a variety of places to eat and for the price is excellent.
We wanted a clean, smoke free hotel, with free parking, free internet, free breakfast, in a safe location.
All three times we took a taxi back, costing us $5-$6 a trip, but well worth it.
For example, a couple times the 10:30 AM bus never showed up because it overfilled from another hotel, so the 11:00 AM bus showed up (at 10:50 AM) to serve both 10:30 and 11:00 AM passesngers.
Usually with a king bed room you get maybe three pillows, the rooms were stocked well with 5 comfortable feather pillows.
The bathroom and hallway side of room get extremely warm, while the bed area has the A/C unit blowing directly on you as you sleep.
Comfy -- not the typical hotel bed, the staff at the front desk were really lovely and helpful, the bathroom was very clean.
The beds and pillows are the best -- very soft and comfy -- not the typical hotel bed.
I wish I could've gotten it for a better price ($125+tax per night for a King bed room) as I've stayed in Animal Kingdom Lodge and Royal Pacific Resort for a bit more at different times.
Breakfast bar was well maintained and delicious.
Free paper delivered to your room during the week (USA Today) and there's a flat screen TV in the dining area to view while you're eating breakfast!
Drugstore is a minute's walk from the hotel as are plenty of restaurants (try Kobe which is a great place to eat or to get takeaway).
We also enjoyed the free breakfast buffet - particularly the homemade waffles!
Free continetal breakfast and all in all a very good choice for families on a budget.
The front desk agent, Darren, was very professional as well as the rest of the hotel staff.

They also offer free shuttle service to and from Universal, save $11 on parking and the breakfast was very good.
They have a free shuttle, but we just paid the $10 parking and drove so we could be in charge of our time.
The Fairfield International has a heated pool and a jacuzzi at the perfect temp.
