Went to the hotel tango show which was worth the inflated price - classy and not the tacky tourist show.
We have stayed at some of the best hotels in the US and Europe so the price wasn't the issue; more a matter of following through with the experience you expect at such a property.
Once again, on the outside, the hotel is beautiful, but upon closer inspection, this hotel is definitely not worth the money and like many "trendy" places, will become a fad hopefully sooner than later.
SAVE YOUR MONEY - Buenos Aires has numerous great hotels that are reasonably priced.

The location, right next to the Puerto Madero is ideal for foodies.
Taxis are very cheap here, so feel free to take them but only go with "radio taxi" and only use small bills.
At the very least, you must know how to direct your taxi driver to the hotel, since it's still new and not in the central area.
The room was fantastic - glamorous, stylish, a huge comfortable bed, all the gadgets and touches you would expect.
The bedroom was not an actual private area but was on the other end and the bed was VERY comfortable.
As for the inability of some other reviewers to get a bed by the pool, I guess its just a function of there being 15 or so beds and 200+ guests.
The lights / blinds in the room really do suck and their placement on the back of your bed-head defies belief.
Our "personal" concierge "found" us a new room, a few feet larger, with a larger bed, but this didn't make my wife's foot feel better after she cut it on a piece of glass in the new room.

Our experience mangager was very helpful and contacted me before the trip to know about what restaurant reservations I might want (she also e-mailed me a list of restaurants i might be interested in which I could google and find out more about them.

We ate in the restaurant at night and the food was pretty good.
I like the atmosphere and the restaurants offer great food.
Let me tell you, this is the best Hotel I had ever stayed at and the glamorous and sophisticated of this piece of art is nothing compared to the excellent service you receive from the staff.
Faena is a very interesting property with overall good service but not as polished or well informed as the concierge of a Four Seasons for example, tends to be.
Top service, great food, cool rooms, extremely helpful (but not over the top) staff, unique decor and a very peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of BA.
Also we felt the service from the staff was on par with other world class resorts: e.
The Spa is something special as is the pool.
The food is delicious, the pool is beautiful.
The food is excellent, also the wine list appeared quite good and pool are a meeting point to the trendy BA stylish people.
The flowers that were put in our room fresh were never replaced and left to die on our table.
