location and the hotel is well located close to a Maubert metro station.

Situation was excellent and the best thing about this hotel was its location just blocks from Notre Dame.

Central situation and the hotel is in a great location.

Easy access to/from metro bus, the hotel is in a good location.

Germain, markets at Place Monge and Rue Mouffetard (and of course the one right by the Metro station Maubert Mutualité).

The room was not cleaned, the bed was crumbling, and the bathroom was dirty.

Yes, the room was tiny--just big enough for a double bed, two small nightstands on either side, and a narrow table on the wall across from the foot of the bed (which held a small TV and by necessity our large suitcases--closet is midsize).

The double bed was tiny, the toilet flush was broken, the mini bar was never re-stocked and the cleaning was below par.

We chose not to take breakfast there, rather we wandered down to the local shops and restaurants.

Great location in Latin Quarter near many good restaurants, shops, and sights.

Do yourself a HUGE favor when you're there, look up a tiny restaurant called Le Scheffer at 22, Rue Scheffer 75116 for a DYNAMITE meal with incredible local flare.

Here's a tip: most of the shops in the immediate vicinity are shut on Sundays but walk less than 10 mins across the river to the 4th Arr (Metro St Paul) where due to a special dispensation, stores and restaurants are open on Sundays.

Definately have breakfast in the great little basement - great way to start the day :).

The front desk staff said yes; the waitress looked miffed, but didn't charge us, so we left a tip for her each day.

The staff at the front desk all spoke english and were always willing to lend an ear or help with getting about the city of Paris.

Anyways, we were very happy with the location, the front desk service, etc.

We're not native French speakers, so when we had some issues (like the luggage), the front desk staff was gracious enough to switch into English.

The lift is small, but we fit with our luggage just fine.

One negative was that the elevator was not working for the first couple days of our stay, and it had apparently fallen with people inside a few days earlier.

As has been said before the elevator is VERY SMALL.

The rooms are small, but spotless and actually very trendy.

Location was great, the staff were always available and the room was very clean.

The bathroom was very clean, yes the elevator was tiny and breakfast was a simple continental buffet.

The room was quite clean and the cleaning staff did a good job at picking up after us.
