I agree that the location was good - close to the Metro, and with several restaurants nearby.

It is in a great location close to the Moulin rouge and Sacre Coeur but the windows give ou on a quiet street.

The room was a decent size, it was clean, the shower was really powerful, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, the nearby restaurants were very good in every aspect, and the location of the hotel itself was ideal.

Cost us only 8 Euros to get from Gard Nord station in a Taxi but could easily have gone by metro.

The taxi ride from Gare Du Nord (Eurostar) was about 8 euros but we couldn't get a taxi back on Friday evening as they were all booked up, so we used the metro.

The room was on the small side in comparison to English hotels but was more than adequate and very clean, with a large bathroom that contained a bath (only big enough to stand/sit in for a shower), sink and toilet.

The room was small, but clean and comfortable and the bathrom was fine, although my wife would have prefered to have a bath (remember to indicate this in advance as the hotel only has 6, or so rooms with baths.

The double room we had was nicely decorated, with a comfy bed.

We had a three bed room on the 5th floor at the back overlooking the rooftops of Paris but what rooftops!

Comfortable bed, very clean, helpful staff, good-sized rooms for a European hotel, convenient to metro.

We didn't take breakfast as there are so many cafes on the surrounding streets - we ate at a different cafe and restaurant each day and were never disappointed.

In the area there are several restaurants however that serve new French cuisine, ie traditional recipes revisited and served in big portions.

The nearest metro is liteally 200 meters away and the hotel is in a perfect location to explore the whole of Paris as well as taking advantage of numerous restaurants, bistro's, cafe's and bakery's for breakfast.

At the end of the street was a lovely little square with 2 Indian restaurants, a nice laid back all purpose cafe/restaurant with great Tapas, and another cafe that we did not try.

We walked to local restaurants for breakfast and dinner, and even a 15-minute walk to Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge.

The service is magnificent - the staff are very helpful and polite as well as being multilingual and you get a very personal touch with this hotel.

From its attractive sitting area/reception, good hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Reception staff – what can we say about them … everyone was so polite and friendly, and always had a ‘bonjour’ or ‘au revoir’ accompanied with a smile when we passed by, and we noticed that this was the same with all the guests.

Throughout our stay there were numerous staff on reception, all of which were at least bi-lingual (French + English) and on checking in we were given a complimentry map with the hotel and nearest metro both highlighted,.

The elevator/lift was broken for about half of our stay so we were required to climb several flights of stairs to come up and down from the rooms.

We had the unfortunate experience of returning back to the hotel at around 2am after attending the Moulin Rouge (absolutely fantastic show) and were stuck in the very small lift for almost two hours!

One was the lift; it was noisy, small and jumpy.

We found the place spotless and each day after the chamber maid had been in to tidy the room, she left it smelling lovely and fresh.

Rooms in the hotel were small but had everything we needed and were very clean and tidy.

The bedroom was nicely furnished and clean and the other areas of the hotel were well presented.

Rooms the size you would expect, confortable, modern, clean.

Each day, after walking all over Paris we were delighted to find our clean, comfortable room ready for us when we returned.
