This is a good hotel especially for the money.
However, overall the hotel is overpriced.
The hotel is moderately priced for the area and I think it really is a good value overall.
It is about half of the price of the Ceasar Park, which is directly behind the hotel.
Great location and obviously a very well located hotel in the Ipanema part of Rio at five minutes by walk from the very trendy beach.
One block from the beach a near bars, excellent location and the hotel is very well located - has merely 2 stars - rooms.

The sea is a great way to start the day, the view on the roof is just fantastic and the good thing about this hotel is the location.

The bedroom had a large king size bed, breakfast buffet was excellent.
The staff was friendly, the room was sizeable - the beds comfortable and efficient and the breakfast bouffet was really good.
The suite was very clean, modern, large with two bathrooms, very comfortable and had a terrific frontal view of Ipanema Beach.
The showers did drain poorly as others have stated and we never could quite figure out the toilet, resorting to using the one in the lobby-the one in the room would never quite fully flush.
Fairly spacious rooms w/clean bathroom and nice breakfast buffet.
Breakfast is also served at a roof top restaurant with the same terrific views, one way looking towards the beach and the other towards Lagoa and Christ.
The restaurant has a breathtaking view and breakfast buffet is generous and very good.
Breakfast is included and it is ok and served until 10:30am in the rooftop restaurant named 360.
An OK breakfast buffet in the rooftop restaurant is included in the room rate.
The upstairs restaurant has great food, great staff and terrific views all around.
the lobby had amazing food and service staff was very pleasant.
pictures on this site were showing new rooms and front desk staff spoke excellent English.
The front desk staff needs some lessons in courtesy, but the bellmen are very friendly.
The roof pool was good, not huge but of good enough size.
Has a pool on the top floor but is small and not that interesting.
I was a little disappointed with the pool - I would definitely describe it as a mini-pool, nothing like the pictures they have of it.
I was also charged 30Reais per day for high-speed internet (you also have a pay per minute option) and the connectivity was up and down.
Additionally the suite was very clean and the breakfasts too were good.
Lobby, hallways and rooms were super clean.
