The Café is the only 24/7 restaurant in town, with live kitchens providing a wide range of dishes. Sidewalk offers great coffee and drinks. The hotel is conveniently located near tourist spots. A dedicated team caters to the business traveler.
A few minor details could be improved, but I'm just being picky.

this hotel's so close to tourist places like patan durbar square. it took only 5 minutes to walk to shivadarshan hall bus stop. the orange bar, set within 10 minutes' walk, was the best for dining.

The Café is the only restaurant that never sleeps, because apparently people in Kathmandu don't need their beauty sleep. The live kitchens are like a culinary circus, where you can watch chefs juggling pans and spices. Sidewalk is a caffeine heaven, perfect for anyone in need of a pick-me-up. The event space is fit for hosting your royal wedding, complete with a dedicated team of professionals at your beck and call. Kathmandu, the city of temples, will have you feeling closer to God than ever. Conveniently surrounded by tourist hotspots, because who wants peace and quiet anyway?
A place where wifi is not free, because why would anyone want to stay connected in this modern age?

During my stay at Everest, I was impressed by the impeccable service and attention to detail. The hotel staff made sure that every request was taken care of efficiently and sincerely. The variety of food options offered, whether it be Chinese, Indian, or continental, was simply outstanding. The in-room dining menu had a wide selection, perfect for those who enjoy indulging in midnight snacks or having a late breakfast. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Additionally, the breathtaking view of the Himalayas from my window was truly unforgettable. I had an excellent experience at Everest and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

It's an ok hotel but nothing more.
Expensive WiFi connection. Remote location. Substandard windows that don't close properly. Worn out building structure.

Room size, decor and especially the comfort of the bed were excellent. Cleaning staff were also efficient and very friendly.
The swimming pool is out of use. As a couple, we were carrying a mobile email device each. Reception would only allow us a code to activate one by free wifi.

Upon check-in, I was greeted with a refreshing drink and the process was quick and efficient. The room I was assigned to was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The daily cleaners did a fantastic job keeping the room tidy. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options and I never went hungry. One highlight was the bar on the 7th floor, Bugles and Tigers, which had a lively atmosphere and delicious bar snacks. The hotel also had two fantastic restaurants, an Indian and Mandarin restaurant, where I enjoyed some very tasty meals. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, like the pool being closed for renovations and the lack of free wifi, overall I had a positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

During our stay at the average hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room and the comfortable amenities provided. The linen was impeccable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offered in the morning was adequate, and we enjoyed the variety of options available. We also had a good dining experience at the Mughalai and Chinese restaurants, with prompt and attentive service. The hotel's location was convenient, with a lovely quaint cafe opposite and a flea market nearby where we found great bargains. We also appreciated the availability of purified water and the presence of a generator in case of power outages. I would recommend this hotel for a basic and nice stay.
