Hotel Estoril Eden

The hotel is located near Monte Estoril railway station and with a train every 10 minutes to Lisbon it is ideal for anyone who likes to visit the city but would prefer to stay in a nicer location.

Nice location, the sea walk was delightful and the hotel was very close to the beach was great for early morning.

All in all the eden is above average and in an excellent location.

DO NOT allow the hotel to organise your taxi journeys-they are in cahoots with the taxi men I think and the taxis really over charge you.

Being from a large metro area and the hotel is great for people traveling.

This modern hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are well equiped and quite large with a small kitchen unit, well appointed bathroom, king sized bed, lounge area and balcony.

There was one moment of panic for two blokes travelling together on finding there was only one bed (in a seperate room to the main living area by the way) but we were relieved to find the sofa folded out to form a second one.

The rooms are cleaned and the beds changed evey day and the level of cleaniness is excellent.

ROOMS: Our room was of a very good size, with table and chairs and eve a pair of sofas.

We had a room/apartment on the top floor overlooking the beach which was a very pleasant surprise.

The hotel eden in estoril is an aparthotel, which means that the majority of their rooms have a kitchenette which can be very useful if you decide to go on a self catering holiday-the hotel does however have a restaurant, bar and snack bar.

They were quite accommodating for our needs, especially the wait staff in the restaurant for breakfast.

One can also easily access the beach-side promenade, allowing you to walk 20-30 mins down to Cascais, which has many nice beach-side restaurants and shops, or up to Estoril proper.

We travelled to Caiscais most nights as there are restaurants, bars and shops, as well as a nice beach.

The breakfasts were good with cereal, cooked food, fruit, meats and bread.

Helpful friendly staff and v good receptionist.

Scenic view from the balcony, estoril itself is lovely and front desk staff is mostly helpful.

However, I found most of the reception staff less than helpful.

Its in an ideal spot and the staff are really nice.

I chose it because it advertised indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and fitness room.

Nice room, good indoor pool + jacuzzi and restaurant food fine.

So if you expect a nice relaxing swim and sauna at the end of the day, or jacuzzi - don't!

The reception team were welcoming, The rooms are a little retro, but perfectly clean and fresh.

Staff pleasant and knowledgeable, clean rooms, quite nice breakfast.

The beds are adequate, outside pools are clean.
