Hotel Ester Krakow - 克拉科夫

Situated in the heart of the Jewish Quarter just a small walk to the main square, the location of the hotel is very good and fantastic restaurant as well that you get 10% discount in you are a resident.

Great location in the Jewish Quarter and the little square the hotel is situated on is nice.

Excellent location just at the heart of the jewish quarter, the Kazimirez district the hotel is located is bustling and lively, the staff are very friendly.

On our day of departure, the airport had been closed due to fog but both the taxi driver and the hotel were extremely helpful and helped us get our connection eventually.

The taxi fare from the airport was 80 zloty's and I think this is the price even if you get in a larger taxi such as a people carrier as we shared with some others going back to the airport.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable (although a double bed would have been better than two singles pushed together) and the bathroom was excellent obviously recently refurbished.

Our room (25) was very spacious with 3 beds(no camp beds) with a small but adequate bathroom, whilst we were there the temperature hit 40` we were glad of the air con.

Room 15, three single beds plenty of space good size bathroom, fridge, water, safe and a lovely view over the square.

Hotel Ester is warm, comfortable and very clean with good size rooms with a/c and really modern bathrooms en suite.

First floor corner room was massive with windows onto square-decor was fresh, clean, stylishly minimal with comfy beds and flat screen tv.

The hotel has been recently modernised and all facilites including the bar, restaurant and al-a-carte breakfast are of the hightest standard.

The breakfast area and the outside bar area seemed understaffed and you'd wait some time for food or drink to arrive.

The breakfast spread was more than adequate and the restaurant food was very good indeed.

Didn't eat in the restaurant as we were so disappointed with breakfast.

Bar etc was good, there was a mix up about paying for breakfast.

The area was very nice, the hotel staff spoke good English and assisted, the service again was excellent.

The service was excellent as were the staff and the food in the restaurant was exceptional and very reasonably priced.

What could be better is the attitude of the reception-staff!

The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful in assisting us in organising ourselves and got us taxis when needed.

Friendly staff, especially the young and older guy on reception.

The second site Birkenau is about a 20 minute walk from the main site at Aushwitz, or you can take the shuttle bus which only seemed to run every hour, in MArch anyway.

We visited Auschwitz & the Salt mines and I would recommend them both, although the descent into the depths of the salt mine & the tiny lift back up are not for the faint hearted.

The rooms were spotless and continental breakfast was great.

The rooms were clean and breakfast was more than adequate.

We were taken to our rooms which were large airy and spotlessly clean.

The room itself was immaculately clean and spacious.

The Room No24 was excellent, immaculately clean & very warm.
