Essex House Hotel & Suites Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

One very cool thing about the hotel is the location: literally one block from the beach and right on Collins, so nearby bars and excellent restaurants abound.

Price is OK for the location but if you have a car you'll have to pay 25$ per night at the nearby parking.

It's a very convenient location, 1 block from the beach and close to the shopping district.

I had a very hairy ride from the airport - the taxi driver tried to rip me off ( I had checked beforehand how much it would cost) and forced me to get out of the car in the middle of the busy highway.

Mia, Mike, and Nury at the front desk were absolutely lovely and helpful to us, they booked the shuttle for us to Sawgrass Mills and the cab we asked to pick us up at 3 AM to go to the airport.

$139 a night for a suite with a luxurious king bed, livingroom area, large flat screen TV, a huge bathroom with a BIG jacuzzi tub and so on.

We looked at the suites and they were very nice with a king size bed large room and a two person jacuzzi that was set is a large marble tile bath room.

You can have either smoking or non-smoking rooms, 2 doubles or a king size bed, and it comes with a mini fridge (not always fully stocked, but plenty of room for your own goodies), cable tv, ironing board, walk-in closet.

The suite was HUGE, we had a king size bed, and not 1 but 2 sofabeds, we also had a view of the strip on Collins Avenue, but the room was still quiet at nights thanks to modern sealed windows.

1 bed so we were happy with a regular room with 2 beds.

There is no restaurant but a nice continential breakfast is served in the small friendly bar; there is lots of outside seating on the large veranda on the side of the hotel.

It is located right behind the Clevelander hotel and bar, and lots of shops, restaurants on both Collins and Ocean.

The small hotel had great decor, a cute little bar and courtyard, and a fine breakfast.

Great breakfast, very cozy lounge and pool areas but and I insist on that, the greatest asset of this nice hotel in Miami is its excellent staff.

But make sure you eat the breakfast offered at the hotel--it is very good, but it is over at 10am!

The staff and service were very good, from the bellmen to the front desk.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in early December - loved the decor, the staff, the location and the pool/spa.

The hotel pool is very small but it's heated to jacuzzi temperature so you can treat it as a hot tub rather than something you'd swim in.

Great lobby, great staff, great location, pool sucks - go to the Loews if you know how to be incognito.

connected to The Clevelander you will pretty much be in the hottest.

Our room was on the second floor overlooking the Collins Ave and 10th intersection and was very clean, comfortable and tasteful.

The rooms are clean, the hotel is very close to the beach and nightlife.

Although the rooms are a little small they are clean.
