The breakfast offered was generous and delicious with stunning views, accompanied by fresh orange juice. the rooms at Esperas are consistently spacious and provide a beautiful sunset view. the staff is patient, exceptionally attentive, and the location in Oia is unbeatable.

The hotel was in a perfect location very close to the main centre of Oia where lots of restaurants are, Katharos beach and the caves of Oia overlooking the caldera. The breakfast was generous with the fresh orange juice and beautiful views, for instance, worth the price.

I truly enjoyed helpful personnel that ensures guests have a relaxing stay. The location is incredible, minutes away from city center. You'll need 10 minutes to walk to Sunsets Bar Restaurant with nice drinks.

We stayed in a traditional cave house with stunning views in Oia. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to meet our requests. We enjoyed breakfast on our patio every morning and loved the private pool and patio. we highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing Views, Excellent Service, Unforgettable Experience

During our stay at Esperas, the views from our room were absolutely breathtaking. We had two balconies that provided the most incredible sunset views, and we didn't even have to leave the hotel for those picture-perfect moments. The pool area was also great for lounging and enjoying the vista.

Just beautiful! Superb views, gorgeous setting, extremely helpful and friendly staff, cute and comfortable accommodation (we stayed in a studio, which was surprisingly roomy and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay - appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine too!), nice pool, and liked the buffet breakfast which had a good choice. Mostly we just adored the setting - perched on the cliffs with stunning views over the sea, right in the heart of Oia yet managing to be tucked away from the passing daytrippers and tourists, so the main background noise was the soothing 'swish' of the waves below. With our own private terrace overlooking the sunset, equipped with sun loungers and a table and chairs to eat al fresco if we wished. Wonderful!! Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway (although you do need to be able to negotiate the many steps - not for the physically challenged). Oia is one of the prettiest places we saw on the island, even with the throng of tourists it is possible to find a peaceful corner to relax in. The little port of Amoudi is cute and the fresh fish in the restaurant was excellent (although very expensive!). We also found a nice place nearby to swim from the rocks (as the beach nearby did not suit us - very rocky and the waves were a little too rough to tempt us in). The weather at the end of Sep was still hot and sunny, with a refreshing sea breeze.

No problems at all with the hotel! Absolutely loved everything! Regarding location, those looking for a 'beach' holiday may be disappointed, as it is quite a hike down the hill to the sea, (or rather the return journey back up the hill is quite strenuous, although fun, dodging the donkeys/mules which have not yet learned how to give way to pedestrians!) Overall though, it is difficult to find fault with anything: The views from the hotel alone are so breathtaking that we didn't want to leave our peaceful corner of paradise...

The staff was incredibly accommodating - calling the airline for us when our flight was cancelled due to a strike and preparing a breakfast for us for our 5 am departure. I can't say enough about the great location and incredible staff!

We loved the stunning view of this place overlooking the water, and the service was fantastic from the staff. We were able to enjoy private served breakfast on our balcony, which was very impressive. This venue was very convenient and easy to get around. We appreciated the lovely porter, the leisure swimming pool, and the clean and spacious rooms.
