Extended Stay America Lynchburg-University Blvd - 林奇堡

The room was clean with very basic furnishings (2 double beds, small table with two chairs, dresser, TV with cable, phone with free local calls, iron & ironing board, night stand, & digital clock).

The kitchen area of the double bed room was very small, if you were planning on using the kitchen.

But for a two night stay, the fact that I had to make my bed one morning was not a big deal and there were plenty of clean towels-4 large towels for the 2 of us for a two night stay was fine.

The frig was clean but again the bathroom was fithy , nightstand was sticky, kitchen was dirty and the room smelled.

But, the next time they cleaned the room they still didn't clean the bathroom floor.

I prefer the Holiday Inn Select where we normally stay due to location and the common areas are a little cleaner and they have a restaurant/bar but in a pinch I would stay at Extended Stay America again.

There are plenty of places to eat and shop close by.

There was also a small pot, small pan, colander, & dish drainer.

It was a 5 minute ride to our son's college (Lynchburg College) and about 10 minutes to the center of town where we ate twice.

We were told by the manager at Extended Stay they were short in cleaning staff.

When we checked in the staff was extremelly helpful in letting us know where we could eat and what would be open on Christmas Eve.

Fabulous staff, Yahoo Travel made it so easy to book, and wonderful experience for a great Christmas away from home!

The staff here can be incredibly rude (with a few exceptions).

The office staff are not very knowledgeable in their own computer systems nor on how to treat guests with dignity.

The one thing I was unaware of when we booked is that because it is an "extended stay" hotel housekeeping only comes once a week.

The new place is clean and high Speed Internet Pets are only a few extra dollars.

It is like pulling teeth with them to get them to clean your room.

The room was clean, elevator were not the cleanest or best smelling.

Clean room, having the kitchen is a big plus.

It's not the Ritz but the room was clean as were the sheets etc.

The room they gave me did have clean sheets, but that was about all.
