Extended Stay America Asheville-Tunnel Rd - 阿什维尔

The location is excellent, the iron didn't work very well.

Friend and I planned a weekend trip to Asheville and thought that the Extended Stay would be a nice central location and a decent hotel.

The location is excellent but the hotel needs quite a bit of work to bring it up to snuff.

Very good location in the centre of everything, the young lady at the front desk was extremely nice and the rooms were clean.

The towels were not great and the bed was pretty hard.

I also heard plumbing noise coming from another room, but it might not have been heard if the bathroom door was closed.

Then we realized that the staff took their cigarette breaks right under two of the non- smoking bedrooms and it drifted into the rooms.

I didn't realize until we checked in that they had confirmed a queen-size bed instead of the king-size I requested.

But the bath, toilet, and sink were clean.

There are tons of chain restaurants on Tunnel Rd & you are within minutes of downtown restaurants & shops.

There were only 2 pillows, they charge for the WIFI that other local hotels were offering for free, and there was absolutely no free continental breakfast of any kind.

There was a two-burner stove and a microwave along with a few dishes and a dish drainer.

And we wanted to keep our expenses down by cooking some of our meals ourselves.

The staff is very friendly and accomodating.

I was accomodated immediately & the staff was very apologetic.

Overall, I give the staff excellent marks.

I'm not sure what else to add, the staff were good enough to give us a discount after we mentioned the roaches ($40 off of each night) and the outside and hallways were clean and well maintained.

The young lady at the front desk was extremely nice.

Last ,but not least, was a large blood-stained bedcover which housekeeping had tried to wash with hot soap and water.

There were absolutely no brochures or pamphlets of any kind in the lobby about local area attractions, of which there are many, including the Biltmore House.

The rooms (both the original one I was assigned & then the second I requested) were clean with new carpeting.

Check-in is listed as 3PM, but the rooms weren't clean at 3:40P.

Housekeeping was contacted to clean my room immediately and they came down right away.

A clean room, good choice for your money.
