The location, whilst not downtown, was adjoining a skytrain station which made it very easy to visit any part of Bangkok.
We were less than 10 minutes from the main downtown shopping area by Skytrain, so for us it was a perfect location.
The location is excellent, but that is the only one thing that we appreciated.
Over 5,000 Baht is too expensive only for the location and good view.
Went from there to Bumrumgrad hospital in a cab, came back 24 hours later with a new-younger face.
We managed to squeeze two children, a baby and two adults in a Studio Suite (larger rooms were unavailable at short notice!
We had a beautiful 2 bedroom suite which was cheaper than 2 regular hotel rooms we would have had to book at a regular 5 star hotel.
Rooms are divided by drywalls only so you can for example hear a telephone ring or an alarm clock in the room next door.
My wife & I have just returned from a months stay at The Emporium Suites Bangkok and and were very impressed with every aspect of our serviced apartment.
I stayed there in an 80 square-meter, studio apartment with an incredible view.
Food is not an issue as there is the food court, restaurants and also a well stocked supermarket in the shopping centre.
The hotel is well noise-insulated (quiet) and the breakfast is good.
The breakfasts were really good and the egg station Chef makes the best omlettes ever!
The first 6 floors of the Emporium complex consist of an upscale shopping mall with a wonderful food supermarket where you can purchase almost any kind of food you can think of.
Well worth the walk over to the food court on the 4th floor.
The service was impeccable: the safe got stuck and the manager stayed until he could get it fixed (about 15 minutes).
Most of the front office staff know me by name and they have gone out of their way to look for the name of a particular restaurant for me and also made reservations on my behalf.
As they are a serviced apartment, not a hotel, there were some missing services which were usually expected in hotels.
The swimming pool area with its garden and the gym is top class and I have always found staff to be very helpful and professional.
Nice pool area (although the playground was in desperate need of a overhaul!
The lifts may have some problem in the operating program, which made us wait for more than 2 minutes to come to the floor.
Location absolute fantastic and through Skytrain well connected allover Bangkok.
The room is clean, well equipped, and we can enjoy the good view to the city of Angel.
