The Riviera is PRIME location - close to upscale hotels, resuarants, shopping.

The location is great, walking distance of many shops or just a few dollars to the market.

All in all the staff were friendly and helpful, location was great and sunshine was marvelous.

Very cheap cab fare to get into the city.

Within walking distance or short cab/pumania ride from anywhere you'd want to go.

The room we had sported 2 double beds, a large dresser, large closet c/w free room safe, color tv, coffee maker - makes 4 small cups (1st round of coffee is free - additional days are $14 pesos (+-$1.

The rooms have been updated in resent years and the suites are one of the best in Maz.

Very nice view, the beach was great and the bed linens were as luxurious as at the Delta hotels.

The staff were all very friendly, the bed was super comfortable.

The rooms are clean and everything is functional with a walk in shower room.

Bar service was awesome and restaurant prices were reasonable.

The food was good, the drinks were good but there were so many cheap and good restaurants around the hotel you felt a little confined to the restaurant sometimes.

Moreover super palapa bar and the food delicious.

The bar offers happy hour every day from 5-6 p, the food delicious and absolutely fabulous seafood for a song.

You can walk to restaurants, shops and other hotels.

SERVICE- The wait staff at this property is very accomodating.

The front desk staff weren't quite as nice.

View of ocean is good from most rooms and the front desk staff weren't quite as nice.

Front desk worker were always smiling friendly, the room was kept clean and bar service was awesome.

They'd serve us on the beach, in the pool, hottub, wherever!

One night we had a birthday party for a family member and Angel (one of the night waitors) went out of his way to set up a private dinner area for us next to the pool, hang up our pinata, cut and light candles on our cake.

We got our tours from the front lobby representative.

ROOMS- Average rooms, they were always very clean.

Friendly and accommodating staff made the trip memorable, the rooms were spotless, the food was authentic and tasty.

The hotel was clean, service was good and we arrived on January 11th our room was beautiful.

The rooms were clean and very functional.

Our room was very clean, we had all the features of a four or five start hotel (which I have stayed in) maybe not as rich but comfortable.

    LOCATION- Great Golden Zone location and food is way better than most places. In addition the local style taxis in Mazatlan are famous and the staff are very nice. The rooms are fine.

    Beach is dirty, the pools are not heated.

    The pool was cold - the ocean on the other hand was very nice and location was fantastic. The hotel was clean, service was good and we arrived on January 11th our room was beautiful. The towels were always fresh, the food was great too-try the nachos.

    Nice beach, within easy walking distance to some excellent restaurants and mazatlan itself is a beautiful city. Staff is great and in room coffee: first pouch is free.
