The B&B owners were so cool, always checking in and making sure we were having a blast. They even told us about a sick kayaking spot nearby where we had the most epic water adventures! And guess what? We also found out there's a babysitting service if you're bringing your little siblings. Plus, there's a sick leisure center and a rad playground nearby. Definitely the dopest place for adventurous teenagers like us!

Honestly, the only thing that would make this place even better is if they had a sick party spot for young people like us. Imagine partying the night away after a day of extreme mountain biking and skydiving.

Location: the hotel was so close to the historic town square and the surrounding area and pubs, supermarkets, charity shops and restaurants. Stopped by The Red Apple Cafe to get some coffee and treats, it's really close to the venue, recommend...

my stay was thoroughly enjoyable for 4 nights. there was lots of options for breakfast, including cereals, muffins and fresh fruit, i liked it.

The staff were kind and helpful, everything was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and spacious, bathroom spotless, good location.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The warm welcome given to us on our arrival was lovely! Our room was superb! The staff couldn't do enough for us, my partner even had his shirt ironed!! Now that's what you call good service! I would recommend The Emmet Guest House to anyone & will certainly stay again.

The owners were very friendly. The room was really nice. They provided a good breakvast and were very helpful. The tea and cookies on arrival were a great added touch.

The hotel's location is perfect, so close to the town center, Birr Castle, and highly-rated restaurants. We were able to easily visit Spinners in the evening due to its close proximity.

For a small hotel the double room we had was very modern and spotlessly clean the owner and her mother were very very nice people we would be very happy to stay their again

We had a very nice 4-night stay at Emmet House. The staff was efficient and kept the place clean. The building is beautiful and old, the rooms are spotless and luxurious, with top-notch bathroom amenities. The location is great and quiet, just 1 km from a large castle. It's set in a calm area close to restaurants, pubs, the historic town square, and the surrounding area.

The rooms at Emmet House are just perfect for a cozy family stay! The seating areas and work desks are a great addition for relaxation and getting some work done. The en suite shower room with free toiletries and slippers feels like a mini spa. The reading lights on the bed are super handy for late-night reading, and who can resist the complementary tea/coffee with biscuits? Plus, with the hairdryer, ironing facilities, and tea/coffee-makers. Some rooms even have a seating area, making it even more convenient. Oh, and did I mention the kettle in the room? So convenient!

Personally, I found the designer toiletries in the bathroom to be a bit too strong for my liking. But hey, that's just my subjective opinion, and others might actually enjoy it!

Lovely proprietors, good food, clean and comfortable room in an amazingly central location. Recommend highly, and the Birr castle gardens are spectacular- a highlight of our trip to Ireland.

The staff at Emmet House are dedicated and friendly, they made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and had a large double bed, which was very comfortable. The oversized walk-in shower was a great touch. The breakfast served in the dining room was delicious, especially the bacon.
