Embassy Suites San Diego Bay - Downtown - 圣迭戈

We came to San Diego for a large conference at the Convention Center - great location for access to the conference and events at nearby hotels.

The location is ideal, and the neighborhood seemed very safe at night.

Because the view is awesome and the hotel is in a very good location.

You might want to take a cab from the airport (10 min.

I didn't like that they would take us to the airport earlier in the shuttle so it ended up a $10 cab ride with tip.

The rooms are pretty much the standard for Embassy Suites, sitting room plus bedroom plus bath.

Each room has a separate bedroom with a pull-out bed in the living room/dining room.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean with a good size bathroom and lounge area.

The bedroom had a king size bed and plenty of storage space, the living room was a nice size with a pull out sleeper sofa.

The rooms are spacious with both a bed room (king or 2 doubles) and a nice sitting room with a pullout couch.

An Omelet is very delicious at the breakfast and the bar had a great local feel to.

They do open the fish restaurant for extra seating and are very accomodating during breakfast making sure you are comfortable.

We had lunch at the on premises restaurant upon our arrival and the food was great.

We wondered if they had a shortage of carts and that's why the bellboys were so aggressive, but as we ate our breakfast sitting across from the gift shop, we watched the bellboys wheel the carts in and out of a locked room filled with carts.

We also went to Old Town - recreated early San Diego - interesting historically, with shops and some great Mexican restaurants.

The front desk staff couldn't of been more friendly and the concierge helpful and right on with all her 'tourist info'.

I do agree the front desk staff is not very friendly or helpful but the concierge and the valet parking attendants are great.

The pool and jacuzzi is average, but the their gym is a treat with treadmills and dumbell weights.

We returned our car and had them come pick us up with their airport shuttle and that worked out perfectly (plus it saved us the $22 parking fee).

My only complaint was the crappy wireless Internet connection, which was often slow, and which featured fluctuating connection strength the whole time I used it.

The Bathroom was clean, positives - Food service was very courteous and efficient.

We we finally got to the room later that afternoon the room was clean and not "worn-out" as in previous threads.

And the rooms were a little dated - but very clean.

The service was excellent, our room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was very good.

The suite was clean, the breakfast was great.
