Also its a great location close to shopping.

This is a historical hotel in a really great and interesting location.

The location is great, the staff is excellent and the rooms are superb.

Unfortunately, that was exactly when we had planned to get a cab to the airport.

It was such a nice hotel that we were a little down when we left for the airport because we didn't want to leave yet.

We booked a king room (not a suite) and it was perfect-----beautiful bed linens, wet bar, large bathroom with plenty of great towels and a very large closet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two room suite at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Portland (a room with a king sized bed and a living room with a sleeper sofa).

It is a full suite with separate living room,extra large bathroom, another tv in the bedroom, with all the amenities you could think of.

We a had a two bedroom/two bathroom suite with a living room and dining area.

The room temperature was always comfortable with easy controls in the suite, and the bed was great.

Go downstairs in the hotel to the bar/restaurant (not where you had breakfast - I cannot recall the name of the restaurant) during happy hour, and enjoy the most extensive and cheap (!

I recommend the attached restaurant, especially for drinks at the bar (great happy hour food specials).

I didn’t try the restaurant on site, but the gift shop was your typical hotel gift shop with a few sundries, a small food/beverage selection, and cheesy souvenirs.

Their restaurant's food was the best.

The breakfast was superb and the manager's reception (free food and drinks every night between 5:30 and 7:30) was simply AWESOME!

The staff (front desk, bell-cap, valet, housekeeping, breakfast, manager's reception) are all first class.

We experienced great service from the bellmen, the front desk, the maid service to the breakfast buffet staff.

The hotel has numerous amenities including swimming pool, fitness room, salon/spa.

The pool, spa, sauna and workout room are all nice.

They have a full sized pool; hot tub; and sauna.

Wireless internet available for a daily fee.

My only advice is to make sure your laptop is wireless compatible.

The pool and exercise room were very, very nice and very, very clean.

The suites are roomy, clean (we always tip housekeeping )and comfortable and have 2 televisions.

The hotel is beautiful along with the suites being spacious, cozy, and clean.

Our suite was on the fifth floor, very quiet (a big priority for us) spacious, and spotlessly clean.

The room was extremely large and very clean (despite being a smoking room).
