Embassy Suites Omaha - Downtown/Old Market - 奥马哈

Sorry to say I would not go back to this Embassy, even though it is situated in a great location and they took $50 off our rate for each night we stayed.

A neat thing about Omaha is that the airport is only @ 10 minutes from downtown, so don't worry about booking an "airport hotel" if you have an early morning flight.

The arrangement of the room was a little different from what we'd experienced in other hotels: the bathroom was actually in the hallway between the living area and the bedroom, rather than connected to the bedroom.

The suites themselves are fine, with the added advantage of having a separate living room and bedroom.

The fixtures and furniture were all functional and had no problems, even the bed was comfortable.

The Old Market area is across the street, with tons of restaurants and shops.

The location was amazing--in the heart of downtown, with many exceptional shops and restaurants just a block or two away, if that.

The food in the restaurant was awful, and the service horrible, even though we ate late and were practically the only people there.

Cross the street and you're surrounded by the many delightful shops and restaurants in quaint Old Town, which still sports brick streets.

The hotel staff, other than maid service, provided friendly service, and facilities such as the indoor pool were very handy.

They replaced one phone but the replacement phone's buttons for room service, front desk, etc.

I called the front desk and the staff indicated they would move us to a new room within five minutes.

Clean rooms, clean pool area and lobby staff is excellent.

There is also a "mini" Starbucks off the lobby.

Of all the hotels we stayed during this vacation, this was the only one where valet parking seemed to be a necessity rather than an option.

However, one issue I had is that there is no wired high speed internet connection by the desk.

The front desk people were very accomodating and our rooms were very clean and nice.

ES Omaha was wonderful, staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
