  The beach and pools were great, especially the water activity center. Like all Embassy Suites, the room included breakfast, again very nice when you have the kids with you. The staff was very polite and took good care of us.

  The suites were roomy and clean. It was nice to have several restaurant options at the hotel and be right on the beach.

  We had our reservations at this hotel, but at the last minute decided to save a little money and booked at the Sands Ocean Club. I called the Embassy Suites at 7am and they made special arrangements for us to come on over and check into their property. Great location, great waterpark, fun atomosphere. I will always stay at the Embassy Suite Condo's. Friendly ,helpful staff, clean, great location, so much to do without having to leave the property!

  The room was pretty clean but the balcony was not as there were dead bugs and cigarette ashes all over it. There was not a locking bar as a security measure on the sliding glass to the balcony but it was a lovely view of the ocean.

  The furnace cover was barely hanging on the wall and the furniture in the room was missing pieces and just lent itself to looking "broke down.

  I was with a group of 92 black women who traveled by bus from Atlanta, GA July 11 - July 14. Our check-in was to Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, for a stay in Brighton Towers. There was no assistance provided for carrying or getting bags to the rooms or even getting them back to the bus. We waited on the bus for 45 minutes before we could get off because they had given the rooms we had paid for away, therefore causing some of our party to stay in the villas. There was a planned meeting for the night of arrival (arrival 4pm) which was to be held in one of the meeting rooms booked. Was told we had no room booked for a meeting and were forced to do this meeting in the foyer or hallway for lack of better word. The women who were placed in the villas had to walk to activities in Brighton due to the promised shuttle transport ended up being not a promise at all.

  The service at the luncheon was terrible.

  So the room was ok after that, but not quite clean although we could deal with it. The bathrooms never seemed very clean to me and they never vacuumed.

  My husband called the front desk and they moved us ot a larger one at then of the hall. I'm sure this happens in every hotel, but it's not fun to stand in 3 inches of water when you're trying to take a shower after being at the beach all day. And the elevators are excruciatingly slow.

• I love the room it had a living room/ kitchen which was great. Also me and my gf went to the indoor pool which was great, the place is so big we had to drive but it was okay. The excerising room was huge we looked around but didn't go and excerise in it.

  We decided to stay at the Embassy because of the quality of the hotel and service that one normally gets from an Embassy. We checked in at 11:45pm and upon getting to our room we discovered we had hair in our bed and makeup on the pillow cases. I contacted the front desk and after 1 hour we finally got new sheets, but no pillow cases. The security guard that delivered them was very rude and he stated that I told the front desk that I only needed sheets. This time I spoke to the manager of the hotel and after 30 more minutes I finally get all new bed linens and pillows. Needless to say my 6 year old did not get to bed until almost 2:00am due to a dirty bed.

  Just returned from a week at the Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation, loved every minute. They had a room ready for us when we arrived at 12 noon! Our room was cleaned nicely everyday and the entire staff was very nice from the breakfast workers to the pool attendants to the life guards and front desk folks. Our room is scheduled to be renovated this fall so it was OK that some of the wallpaper was a bit aged. The AC worked great and the king bed was very comfortable.

  Parking was only crowded when we returned late at night.
