Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale - 17Th Street - 劳德代尔堡

Embassy Suites 17th Street is well located: close to the airport and one of the best parts of the hotel is the location.

Great location and the nightly reception pours the good stuff.

The location is very convenient, the Embassy Suites is a nice hotel and the staff is very helpful and polite.

We took a taxi to the hotel from the airport for $12.

The hotel is only 3 miles from the airport so taxi drivers, who have sometimes been waiting two hours in line at the airport, get very angry when they are asked to do such a short trip.

The suites were large with 2 separate rooms, a living / dining room with a sofa bed, chair, dining table with 4 chairs, and a large TV.

Our suite on the 9th floor was a king bed (this was nice as when we booked, there were only rooms with 2 double beds available) on the 9th floor that overlooked the cruise port.

The room are suites with 2 rooms, a mini bar with sink, flat panel TV and beautifully decorated.

The room was fine with a king sized bed in the bedroom and a couch that pulled out into a double bed in the front room.

It's 3 rooms, a side to side bedroom with living room, as opposed to back and front like your typical Embassy Suites layout, with the rooms being a little larger, and then for some dumb reason an ajoining conference room.

The service in the bar was good, their breakfast in the morning was fabulous and the gym was adequate.

They have a restaurant , but was overpriced for us, and a bar and a small store inside.

They are redoing what looks to be an outdoor bar or restaurant.

A nice bar, free buffet breakfast daily and great indoor gardens.

If you aren't going on a cruise, avoid this place on a weekend; it's packed then (that explains the long lines at the omlet bar in the free breakfast buffet--you can always get cold items fast--avoid the scrambled eggs).

I reserved this hotel since was near restaurants, the Manager's reception was also free and the room service was fast.

Maid service was prompt after the first day, check-in at the front desk was quick and therefore all of the furniture was modern.

The sauna/changing rooms by the pool were closed after Katrina, and are still closed.

Traffic ease aside, the hotel is gorgeous, quite new, I loved the sauna and pool.

The pool area is outside and it closes at 11pm so people who like to sit in the jacuzzi late into the evening are out of luck.

Especially since they don't offer dial-up or cable as an alternative to the wireless.

The wireless Internet costs $10 a day but we could not get a decent signal even though we walked outside to the atrium area.

The rooms were clean and all the food was cooked fresh.

Our suite was clean and the breakfast was very nice.

Staff were very freindly and the rooms were always clean and comfortable.

The pool area was nice and clean, i would stay here again rooms were cheap.

Hotel was very clean, the personnel were all very nice and the room had several burned out light bulbs.
