It is in a fairly central location located right off the I-35, but keeps you away from the crowded downtown area.
The location was very convenient, the hotel was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The Good: The room was spacious and had a great view of downtown Dallas, the staff was friendly, and the location was very convenient.
If you have a car and can drive everywhere, the location isn't too bad.
The bed was comfortable and the furniture in the room was all brand new.
They first gave us a room with a king bed but we needed two doubles so they changed our room with a smile.
The two rooms allowed my husband and I to stay in the bedroom and our children to stay in the living room on the pullout.
The only 2 things I have to complain about is the quality of food and when we first went in to the suite, I went straight to the bathroom and found urine all over the toilet seat.
Outlet next to bedroom sink did not work, nor did the remote for the living room TV.
I didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfast area has the standard ES fare - it was good, and the staff were friendly.
The breakfast and omelet bar that is famous to Embassy Suites did not disappoint.
It was great to have a free breakfast but we had to stand in line for up to one half an hour to have the food prepared by one person.
Room service was good, food was good, breakfast was good.
We were so impressed by the cleanliness, the value and the free breakfast buffet.

There is a fitness center behind the pool area - has the standard treadmills, cycles, and nautilus machines.
He explained to me for several minutes they didn't need to be on the elevator.
A little inconvenience of having to go around the hotel to the other side to catch the elevator the next morning because we were on the 8th floor and the elevator was out of order for a short period of time (probably about an hour or so).
