It's possible to say that this charge and the parking is overpriced, but this is a downtown hotel in a large metropolitan city, and you pay a premium for location and ease-of-use.
Given the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, the proximity to so many attractions (including Centenniel Park right next door and the soon-to-be-opened Aquarium) and the price, I would definitely stay here again.
$22 night in addition to your room price - other hotels include this with the price of the room, there are a lot of parking lots around the hotel which you can park at.
All-in-all, with the price I had for the hotel, the location, and the amenities, I would absolutely stay again.
This hotel has a great location next to Centennial Park in downtown Atlanta.
This property has a good location right next to the Park and 1 block from CNN Center and Philips Arena.
This property has a good location right next to the Park and the Georgia Aquarium is a very nice aquarium.
We did some sightseeing on foot in that area and came back through the Underground.
Cab from the airport = $25 single and $40 for 4 people.
The room was large and very nice, the bathroom was average and the bed was comfortable.
Room was typical ESuites, nice bed, ok furniture, 2 tvs, ok shower.
The bedroom was fine--comfy bed and pillows.
A nice size living room, average bathroom with shower massage, wide hallway to the bedroom and large bedroom.
Staying in room 643, on the right side of the hotel, meant that when we laid in bed, we had a great view--of buildings.
The restaurant in the hotel is very good and there are numerous excellent restaurants within walking distance.
I must mention, though, that the staff in the restaurant at breakfast are great.
The breakfast bar and 2 hour free bar were fantastic.
On Saturday had free breakfast served in Ruths Chris, it is a better set-up for breakfast than I have seen in other Embassy Suites but the food quality was about the same as usual.
Had a late lunch at a sports bar in the CNN Center (also recommended) then back to hotel.
There was no concierge on duty for 2 days of our stay and the front desk staff was clueless; my husband ended up walking over to the Omni Hotel and using their concierge.
Long lines for free cocktails when managers reception started (5:30 or so) but pretty fast service after that.
A very helpful woman was on duty from noon until 8 to provide concierge services.
Evening free drinks and chips and salsa/ fitness center (sauna and enough work out equipment and space) Outdoor pool - didn't use too cold.
Very friendly staff here as well, comfortable beds and outdoor pool/jacuzzi.
The breakfast was great and very good gym the swimming pool was freezing.
95 surcharge for wireless internet use per day!
Visited rooftop pool and exercise room that evening; both comfortable and clean.
The room was clean, the complimentary breakfast was great-- hot.
In addition rooms are clean, the free breakfast is terrific.
Microwave and coffee maker were nice and clean, as was the bathrooms.
Embassy Suites fare but very clean, nice and pleasant.
