This hotel was just perfect, the prices were quite reasonable and the river to Aswan was lovely by day.
As noted, the hotel is undergoing major renovations and I would advise not staying here until these are done unless you get a rock bottom price.
Great Hotel in a Nice location with great service.
The location on the island ideal, handy for the Aswan Corniche and the staff were all very friendly.

The location was great and finding the private Movenpick ferry was a little hard.
It is dusty and the AMAZING view and location is ruined by the dustiness and the renovations.
The so called superior room was spacious and the view was nice but the furniture was in a bad shape, the heating system did not work and there was no hot water in the bathroom at night.
The bed was comfortable, elevators were spotlessly clean and food at the poolside bar was also of an excellent standard.
Rooms are spacious, comfortable with great bathrooms.
We also had a large comfy bathroom as well as a changing room and small separate sitting area.
Really nice friendly staff, updated bathroom and spacious toilet.
We tried the pool restaurant, room service and the breakfast buffet in the main restaurant.
Furthermore the rooms are spacious, the food in the main restaurant is wonderful and the pool is large.
I didn't eat dinner at the hotel but the breakfast buffet was very good.
Had breakfast, dinner and some ala cart, and I would say the food there are great.
The restaurant was very popular with people staying there, and others coming in just to eat.
The service was great, on the plus side: our room had two gigantic balconies and the staff at the terrace bar were very friendly.
Great view on the Nile, the hotel provided free shuttle service between the island and the staff was sympathetic and friendly.

The pool is shut, the tower is now shut and there is no gym.
The pool area looks great the day we were there was quite hot and by far the best hotel we stayed in in Egypt.
Lunch/snacks were excellent and the infinity pool was quite large overlooking the Nile.
